Beginnings

Tyrell:
A first post explaining our name is necessary I believe. We are not here to say current theories concerning the environment are of the conspiracy persuasion, we are here to share ideas about current environmental and human rights activities and the motives behind them. We want to understand why a pro-'environment' group would be funded by known polluters. We want to share our ideas about the way things could and probably should be. We would like to get other people thinking about the many varying ideals of justice and fairness that arise when taking on new perspectives. Some of our posts may be a little extreme in our attempt to understand a new perspective. We may not have all the evidence necessary to make certain claims, and some conclusions may be jumped to. This is why we call ourselves the Environmental Conspiracy Theorists. Be aware that you will be reading biased posts from us. So while we will not try to present all sides in our discussions, we will never purposefully lie in any of our posts.

I hope my fellow Conspiracy Theorists will contribute their ideas as to the purpose of our blog by editing this post.

Daniel:
I agree with everything Tyrell wrote here. Our point isn't to fabricate possible corruption, but we will be purposely critical of the current environmental policy makers because guess what? The current policies aren't working! At the same time we welcome any feedback and insight people may have whether critical of us or not. In my mind the most important goal of this blog is to make us all think and discuss. Because I can see how my own disconcern of environmental politics has helped contribute to the numerous environmental injustices going on all around the world.
